Golden Egg Farm produces quality chickens and hatching eggs for the breeder and 4H participant to be used for show and for pets. Hatching our carefully bred chickens since 1985 has produced healthy, productive and beautiful birds. Hatching eggs and showing birds is a project adults and children enjoy for educational and husbandry disciplines. Chickens are an animal that can fit into most communities for all to enjoy and learn from. Teaching children responsible handling and caring for creatures in this world other than themselves can add a depth of maturity and understanding of the world around us that has been here for centuries and often ignored in this age of computer games.
